I love this quote from a Native American in Carl Jung’s Autobiography Memories, Dreams, Reflections. Jung was fascinated by the fact that this Pueblo Indian did not feel the need to use his head to puzzle things out and just confidently followed his heart. This particular tribe worshipped the sun – they believed that the sun was God. Try to get out of your head this week. When problems, worries or anxieties arise, move down into your heart-space and allow faith to guide you. Stop trying to understand how, why, what, where and when, and just go with what is. Know in your heart that what is happening is okay purely because it is. Allow your problems, worries and anxieties to be a part of this. They too are guiding you. Fully accepting this should give you a great sense of peace.

I know this is easier said than done! Feel free to contact me if, like me, you find it tricky putting this into practice. I’m happy to share tips or chat about difficult areas.
